BEMIDJI, Minn. – The Bemidji State University women's soccer team returns home to begin the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference season at Chet Anderson Stadium Friday, Sept. 9 and Sunday. The Beavers (1-1-1) host Northern State University and Minnesota State University, Moorhead in part of their home-opening weekend as well as Parents' Weekend.

The Beavers first host Northern State Friday at 3:00 p.m., from Chet Anderson Stadium and then face MSU Moorhead Sunday at 1 p.m.

Bemidji State is looking to build off a 1-0-1 weekend at Northern Michigan University and Michigan Technological University this past weekend.

The Beavers are led by fifth-year senior
Sara Wendt who scored a goal and added an assist for three points last weekend. She is followed by freshman
Katrina Barthelt,
Erin Becker and
Allyson Smith who have all scored the Beavers' four goals this season. Senior Stumbaugh has totaled all 270 minutes in net and has totaled 19 saves including a career-high 10 against Michigan Tech in a 1-0 shutout win. Her 19 saves this season leads the NSIC.

Bemidji State is 14-14-3 all-time against the Wolves and is currently riding a six-game win streak. BSU is 19-13-1 all-time against the Dragons and are currently on a three-game win streak.
