BEMIDJI, Minn. – Augustana University scored the equalizing goal in the 81^st minute to capture a 1-1 draw with the Bemidji State University Women's Soccer team Friday night at Chet Anderson Stadium. Senior Lauren Hodny scored the Beavers' goal in the 20^th minute while junior goalkeeper Edie Frantzen made five saves.
 
The Beavers earned one point in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference standings and remain third with 21 league points. BSU moves to 8-1-5 on the season and 6-1-3 in NSIC play.
 
Hody scored her second goal of the season in the 20^th minute to put the Beavers up 1-0 after she cleaned up a loose ball within the Vikings' (7-4-3, 5-3-2 NSIC) penalty area.

Nearly 60 minutes went by with the Beavers holding onto the one-goal lead but Augustana benefited from a Beaver own goal to equalize the game in the 81^st minute.
 
Bemidji State out-shot the Vikings 7-5 in the game with Frantzen tying a career high with five saves and AU's Jillian Barkus making six saves including a flurry of stops in the final minutes.
 
Bemidji State will return to Chet Anderson Stadium Sunday afternoon to take on Wayne State College with kick-off scheduled for 1 p.m.
