BEMIDJI, Minn. – The Bemidji State University volleyball program announce that it will be hosting four summer camps throughout August.
 
The Beavers will host two camps aimed for athletes in high school first with a College Prep Camp on August 4^th for 10-12th graders and a Positions Camp on Aug. 10^th for 9-12^th graders.
 
BSU will also put on camps for younger ages with an Elementary School and Middle School Camp running from August 7-9th. The Elementary School camp will run from 9-11:30 a.m., and the Middle School Camp will run in the afternoon 1:30-4 p.m.
 
College Prep Camp
This camp is for athletes who are looking to push their game to the next level! Participants will receive individual coaching, positional skill training, and 6v6 game play utilizing the same practice structure as the Bemidji State volleyball team.
August 4, 2023 - 9:30 a.m.-7:30 p.m.
Grades: 10-12^th
Cost: $120
 
Elementary School Camp
The elementary school camp is designed for the beginner volleyball player. BSU Volleyball will focus on developing of the basic of volleyball skills (serving, passing, setting, attacking), techniques, strategies using a fun and positive environment.
August 7-9, 2023 - 9-11:30 a.m.
Grades: 1-4^th
Cost: $140
 
Middle School Camp
The middle school camp will focus on the development of the six basic volleyball skills (serving, passing, setting, attacking, digging and blocking). Campers will have the opportunity to apply the skills learned through instruction during camp with various games, competitions, and 6v6 play.
August 7-9, 2023 - 1:30-4 p.m.
Grades: 5-8^th
Cost: $140
 
Positions Camp
This camp is for high school players looking to improve specific volleyball skills. Camp will focus on technical skill and strategic development. Campers are welcome to attend any of the sessions.
August 10, 2023
9-11 a.m. Serve and Pass
12-2 p.m. Attacking and Blocking
3-5 p.m. Setting
Grades: 9-12th
