Sylve Waters and freshman
Madisen Fritel each scored for the Bemidji State University Women's Soccer team Sunday afternoon as the Beavers defeated Minnesota State University, Moorhead 2-0. The Beavers extended their win streak to five matches with the victory and are now 8-3-0 on the season and 6-1-0 in Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference play.

th minute.

The Beavers' defense held strong and in the 80
th minute, Fritel sealed the game with her second career goal.

Bemidji State's defense earned its second-straight shutout after graduate
Sonia Alfieri saved the only shot she saw in the match to earn her fifth shutout of the season.

The Beavers dominated play in their offensive half and totaled a season-high 30 shots with nine on target. Fifth-year senior
Lauren Hodny paced the team with five shots.

The Beavers now return home and prepare to host Minot State University and University of Mary Oct. 18 and 20 at Chet Anderson Stadium.
