BEMIDJI, Minn. – The Bemidji State University Women's Hockey team was held off the scoreboard by Minnesota State University, Mankato in their Western Collegiate Hockey Association series opener Friday night in Mankato, Minn. The Beavers fell 4-0 in the series opener at Mayo Clinic HSEC with Maverick goaltender Hailey Hansen stopping all 21 Beaver shots.

Bemidji State falls to 4-25-2 on the season and 3-21-1 in WCHA play while the Mavericks improved to 11-21-0 (5-20-0 WCHA).

Eva Filippova stopped 24 shots in the game but earned the loss in between the pipes. The Beavers were led by senior
Kayla Santl who totaled five shots.

Bemidji State will attempt to even the series tomorrow afternoon for game two at 3:01 p.m.
