WINONA, Minn. – Bemidji State University Women's Basketball sophomore
Alyssa Hill scored 18 points on 8-of-9 shooting from the field but the Beavers fell 75-64 to Winona State University Friday night at McCowan Gymnasium in Winona, Minn.
Hill was joined by seniors
Amme Sheforgen,
Sam Pogatchnik and
Isabel Majewski who each added 10 points but couldn't overcome a 21-point performance from Winona State's Emma Carpenter.
The Beavers trailed by just three at the half but a 21-13 third quarter by the Warriors (9-17, 8-13 NSIC) out-paced Bemidji State.
Bemidji State now falls to 6-19 (3-18 NSIC) and closes out the 2023-24 season at (RV) Minnesota State University, Mankato tomorrow at 3:30 p.m.
