LITCHFIELD PARK, Ariz. – The Bemidji State University Women's Golf team wrapped-up its spring trip in Arizona Friday afternoon and finished 12
th at the SMSU Spring Challenge held at the Wigwam Blue Course in Litchfield Park, Ariz.
 
Senior 
Maddy Sawyer (89-83) and freshman 
Elli Anderson (83-89) paced the team after each carded 172 to tie for 45
th. As a team, the Beavers shot 724 (354-370).

Freshman Haylee Kamann followed Sawyer and Anderson shooting 187 (85-102) while 
Isabella Depew (97-102=199) and 
Savannah Byfuglien (106-96=202) round out the Beavers five scores.
 
Competing as an individual, 
Mollie Albrecht tied for 33
rd with a score of 165 (86-79) while 
Nakomis Mitchell also competed as an individual and shot 192 (100-92).
 
The Beavers will have the rest of the month off from competition and return to action April 8-9 when they compete at the Augustana Women's Invitational at Elmwood Golf Course.
