SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – The Bemidji State University Baseball team fell in both games of its doubleheader against University of Sioux Falls in Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference play Friday afternoon. The Beavers fell in a close game one falling 3-0 and then 11-0 in game two.

The Beavers recorded six hits in game one including a 3-for-3 game from senior
Jack Munson.
Hunter Daymond,
Beau Thoma and
Jonathan Gates each added base hits.

Junior
Derek Hoffman pitched all six innings for the Beavers his first complete game of the season and allowed just three runs, six hits, walked four and struck out three.

Bemidji State had a more difficult time at the plate in game two recording four hits all base knocks from Daymond,
Zach Evenson,
Dylan Hedley and
Riley Czech.

Hedley pitched the first inning and allowed eight runs off nine hits while
Daniel Pobuda,
Lucas Pierce and
Ben Kornegay all pitched in relief.

The Beavers and Cougars wrap-up their series tomorrow afternoon with another doubleheader beginning at Noon.
