Madisen Fritel scored her first collegiate goal as the Bemidji State University Women's Soccer team defeated University of Sioux Falls 1-0 Sunday afternoon in Sioux Falls, S.D.

Fritel scored in the 26
th minute to propel the Beavers to victory and are now 4-3-0 (2-1-0 NSIC). The Beavers' defense allowed just one shot on goal and goalkeeper
Sonia Alfieri made the save to earn her second career shutout.

Bemidji State now returns home and prepares to host Winona State University and Southwest Minnesota State University Oct. 4 and 6 for parent's weekend and senior day at Chet Anderson Stadium.
