BEMIDJI, Minn. – 54 student-athletes from the Bemidji State University Women's Cross Country, Football, Women's Soccer and Volleyball teams have been named to the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Fall All-Academic Team while 31 were tabbed NSIC All-Academic Team of Excellence.
 
To be eligible for NSIC All-Academic Team honors, a student-athlete must have a 3.20 cumulative grade point average or higher while Team of Excellence selections must have a 3.60 cumulative GPA or higher. Additionally, the student-athlete must be a member of the varsity traveling team and in at least their second year of competition at their current institution (true freshmen, red-shirt freshmen and ineligible athletic transfers are not eligible).

Located on the shore of Lake Bemidji, Bemidji State University sponsors 15 varsity athletic programs with NCAA Division I men's hockey in the Central Collegiate Hockey Association and women's hockey in the Western Collegiate Hockey Association, while its 13 NCAA Division II programs hold membership in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC).
