BEMIDJI, Minn. – The Bemidji State University Women's Hockey team fell 6-0 in its Western Collegiate Hockey Association series finale with No. 6 University of Minnesota Duluth Saturday night at Sanford Center.

The Beavers held the sixth-ranked Bulldogs scoreless through the first 20 minutes but UMD exploded for five goals in the second period to pull away from the Beavers.

Sophomore goaltender
Eva Filippova made 26 saves for the Beavers but BSU falls to 5-25-1 (3-21-0 WCHA) with the loss.

The Beavers now prepare to hit the road for the final time during the regular season for a road series at University of St. Thomas Feb. 14-15.
