BEMIDJI, Minn. — Bemidji State University Football senior defensive back
Caden Bolte was named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-American Second Team Tuesday.
A senior defensive back, Bolte is finishing his academic career with studies in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at Bemidji State. Earlier this year, he was named a CSC Academic All-District selection and Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Fall All-Academic Team of Excellence. Athletically, Bolte was named to the All-NSIC North First Team following his senior season.
The 2025-26 Academic All-America® Football Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. Outstanding student-athletes are nominated for Academic All-District® by communications directors and must have a minimum 3.50 GPA and meet high athletic standards. A select group of student-athletes advances to the national ballot where CSC members vote on Academic All-America® teams. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
The Division II and III CSC Academic All-America® programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2025-26 Divisions II and III Academic All-America® programs. The NAIA CSC Academic All-America® program is partially financially supported through the NAIA governance structure.
