GRAND FORKS, N.D. – Bemidji State University Track and Field finished of its weekend at the University of North Dakota Open with an event win and nine personal best marks.
Sophomore mid-distance runner
Sophie Rylance took home the top mark for BSU by finishing first in the 1,000-meter run, taking down multiple conference opponents. This was Rylance's second first-place finish this season after she won the 600-meter run at the NDSU Alumni Classic in December.

Next week, BSU heads to Fargo, N.D. for the Bison Open hosted by North Dakota State University on Feb. 7. The team will then head to the Ted Nelson Meet at Minnesota State University, Mankato Feb. 14 and back to UND for the UND Tune Up Feb. 20. The indoor season concludes with the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Indoor Championships Feb. 27 and 28 in Mankato.
