Beavers’ 26-27 slate revealed

BSU Women’s Hockey announces 2026-27 schedule for 29th season of program

BEMIDJI, Minn. – In conjunction with the release of the 2026-27 Western Collegiate Hockey Association schedule, the Bemidji State University Women's Hockey team announced the dates of its complete 2026-27 schedule and the 29th season of Beaver Women's Hockey.
 
The Beavers will play a 34-game slate with one exhibition to open the season. 16 will be played at their home rink, Sanford Center, in Bemidji, Minn., while 18 will be played on the road. BSU will play a 28-game WCHA schedule while six will be in non-conference play.
 
Bemidji State opens the 29th season in program history with an exhibition against St. Cloud State University held at the Brainerd Essential Health Sports Center in Brainerd, Minn.
 
The 2026-27 season then officially opens Oct. 2-3, when the Beavers host University of Minnesota for a two-game, WCHA series. BSU will then travel to Minneapolis to compete in the Minnesota East/West Showcase at Ridder Arena and battles University of Maine and Minnesota for two, non-conference bouts.
 
The Beavers then return home to host University of Minnesota Duluth and resume WCHA action Oct. 16-17. Following the home series against the Bulldogs, the Beavers begin a four-game road trip beginning at St. Cloud State Oct. 23-24 and ending at Ohio State University Oct. 30-31.
 
BSU will have its first bye week Nov. 6-7 to prepare to host Minnesota State University, Mankato Nov. 13-14 at Sanford Center. The Beavers then travel to face defending National Champions University of Wisconsin Nov. 20-21 before heading into Thanksgiving weekend where they host Lindenwood University Nov. 27-28 to close out November.
 
Bemidji State will play one series in December when it hosts University of St. Thomas Dec. 4-5.
 
The Beavers will have a 26-day break before returning to play Boston College in Chestnut Hill, Mass., Jan. 1-2 meeting the Eagles for the first time since 2000.
 
The Beavers return to WCHA play with a road trip back to Minneapolis to face the Golden Gophers Jan. 8-9 before their first home games of 2027 against Ohio State Jan. 15-16. The Beavers close out January at St. Thomas (Jan. 22-23) and at home against Wisconsin (Jan. 29-30).
 
The month of February begins with a road trip to Minnesota Duluth, Feb. 5-6 before the Beavers final home series of the regular season Feb. 12-13 against St. Cloud State. BSU ends the 2026-27 regular season on the road at Minnesota State Feb. 19-20.
 
The WCHA Playoffs begins Feb. 26-28 with the Quarterfinal Round before the WCHA Final Faceoff Mar. 4-6.
