BEMIDJI, Minn. — Bemidji State University Men's Basketball has announced the team's 2026-27 schedule, featuring six non-conference competitions and 22 Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference contests. The full schedule is available here.
 
The Beavers, led by Head Coach Mike Boschee, will open the 2026-27 campaign in November with a six-game non-conference lineup, along with a solo Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference contest against University of Minnesota Duluth. The team opens the season at the Hillyard Tipoff Classic in St. Joseph, Mo., hosted by Western Missouri State University, Nov. 13 and 14. In St. Joseph, the Beavers start with Northwest Missouri State University on day one and Emporia State University on day two. BSU opens its home lineup with Concordia College Moorhead on Nov. 17 at 5:30 p.m. They will then play host to Valley City State on Nov. 21 and UMD on Nov. 24. For Thanksgiving break, the Beavers will head south to the Sunshine State for the Eckerd College Thanksgiving Classic Nov. 27 and 28 in St. Petersburg, Fla. There, BSU takes on the University of Tampa and Eckerd College. 
 
The full NSIC schedule kicks off on Dec. 3 when the Beavers travel west to Crookston, Minn. to take on the University of Minnesota Crookston Golden Eagles at 5:30 p.m. They will then return home for games against Minnesota State University Moorhead Dec. 5, University of Jamestown Dec. 10 and Northern State University Dec. 12. Rounding out the month before winter break, BSU heads on the road to kick off a five-game road series, starting with University of Mary and Minot State University Dec. 17 and 19. 
 
Once back from the break, BSU travels to UMD on Jan. 2 to ring in the new year with the Bulldogs at 1 p.m. The team then heads to Sioux Falls, S.D. on Jan. 8 to play at the University of Sioux Falls and to Marshall, Minn. the following day to take on Southwest Minnesota State University at 3:30 p.m. BSU returns home for two weeks, hosting Minnesota State University, Mankato and St. Cloud State University Jan. 15 and 16, then Wayne State College and Augustana University Jan. 22 and 23. January ends with a road trip to Winona State University Jan. 29 and Concordia University, St. Paul Jan. 30.
 
To round out the 2026-27 regular season, BSU starts February by hosting Minot State and UMary Feb. 4 and 6. They'll then take the last full-weekend road trip to Northern State Feb. 11 and Jamestown Feb. 13. The final weekend of regular season play starts with BSU hosting UMC Feb. 18 and ends with a trip to MSUM Feb. 20. 
 
The 12-team NSIC Men's Basketball Tournament Quarterfinals, Semifinals and Championships are set to take place Sat.-Tues., February 27 to March 2 at the Sanford Pentagon in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. The tournament will take the top 12 eligible teams using overall conference win percentage (22 games).  First round games will be played Wednesday, Feb. 24 on campus (top four seeds each receive first round byes). First round games on Wednesday, Feb. 25 are 6 p.m. starts for a single game and 5:30(W)/7:30(M) p.m. for a double header. More information on the tournament can be found here.
