native posted 10 of the Beavers' 26 kills while hitting .292
(10-3-24) and collecting a team-best three blocks. Brie
Groskruetz (Fr., OH, Reedsburg, Wis.) recorded five

percentage (11-3-22) as the Golden Eagles' attack hit an efficient
.365 (49-14-96).
Defensively, Crance led all players with four blocks as Ashley
Allen equaled Groskruetz for match-high dig total of 11.
The loss shrinks the Beavers' lead in the all-time series
to 14-7 while Minnesota, Crookston has now defeated BSU in
each of the last six meetings between the teams.
The Beavers (6-12; 2-6 NSIC) look to snap their current six-match
losing skid Friday (Sept. 29) when they welcome Minnesota
State University, Moorhead to the BSU Gymnasium for a 7 p.m.
NSIC contest.
