Box Score DAVENPORT, Iowa – The Bemidji State University softball team had a tough offensive showing Saturday morning in its final game of the weekend at St. Ambrose University and were held to just two hits. The Beavers (6-4) fell to the Fighting Bees (7-4) in six innings by a score of 8-0 from the Ambrose Dome in Davenport, Iowa.
Junior Lisa Kossan and senior Stephi Dullum recorded the Beavers’ lone hits of the game, both singles.
In the circle, sophomore Kaidron McClafferty earned the loss and falls to 2-2 on the season after pitching 3.2 innings and allowed six runs off of nine hits. Junior Stephi Dullum came into pitch in relief for 2.0 innings and allowed two runs off of three hits.
The Beavers will have the following week off before returning to action for their Spring Break Trip in Florida. The Beavers will spend six days in the sunshine from Mar. 8-13 and will face 12 opponents to wrap-up the non-conference season.
