BEMIDJI, Minn. – Bemidji State University Softball is set to host "Sip the Northwoods", a tasting event including local breweries, wineries and distilleries from around Northern Minnesota, on October 3 at the Loft Event Center in downtown Bemidji. 
 
Sip the Northwoods is scheduled to feature sips from Bemidji Brewing, Castle Danger, 5 Rocks Distillery, Blue Oyster, Haskell's Wine, Obbink Distilling and other distributors. There will also be light snacks, games and a silent auction available. Proceeds from the event will directly benefit BSU Softball, helping to offset travel costs, equipment needs and upgrades and enhancing the overall student-athlete experience. 
 
Tickets are $30 online through this link and $40 at the door, with $15 tickets available for designated drivers. Attendees must be 21 or over to consume alcohol.
