SIOUX FALLS, S.D. -- Bemidji State University baseball lost both of its weekend-opening games Saturday to (RV) Augustana University, 10-0 and 22-0, at Ronken Field. The Beavers combined for three hits and fall to 3-18 overall and 0-7 in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference.

Following a solo home run by AU in the third inning, senior Parker Borg led off the fourth with BSU's first hit. Junior Tom Keohen followed two batters later with a single of his own before a strikeout and fielder's choice ended the inning.

Bemidji State loaded the bases on an error, hit by pitch and walk with two outs before a strikeout ended the sixth inning. BSU followed with a leadoff walk in the seventh inning that was left stranded to end the game.

Junior Logan Barrick (1-3) took the loss after throwing the first 1.1 innings with two strikeouts to one walk. The trio of Jacob Marx, Konrad Kisch and Derek Hoffman combined to throw the final 4.2 innings, allowing one run and two hits with three strikeouts.
