Dahly graduated from the Women Leaders Institute for Administrative Advancement in the summer of 2021.

Dahly was promoted to her most recent position at Minnesota in 2013 after joining the Golden Gopher staff as an assistant director of compliance. She was responsible for all compliance matters pertaining to Minnesota's baseball, football, softball, women's volleyball, and men's and women's swimming and diving programs.
