Wendt scores in 53rd minute to propel Beavers to victory

BEMIDJI, Minn. – Bemidji State University women's soccer fifth-year senior Sara Wendt scored in the 53rd minute and the Beavers' defense held Minnesota State University, Moorhead to 0 shots on goal to earn BSU's third consecutive shutout and improve to 2-0-0 in Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference play Sunday afternoon.

Bemidji State is now 3-1-1 on the season after the 1-0 victory over the Dragos while MSUM falls to 1-2-0 and 1-1-0 in conference play.
