Alyssa Stumbaugh denied all six shots to claim her third shutout of the season.
Smith was assisted by senior
Erin Becker and fifth-year senior
Sara Wendt on her second goal of the season.
Augustana totaled seven shots on goal to four for the Beavers and also earned more corner kicks at 4-1 but the Beavers' defense didn't falter for their fourth shutout of the season.
Bemidji State now stands third in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference standings with a 3-1-1 league record and will now travel to Wayne, Neb., to take on Wayne State College at 1:00 p.m., Sunday.
