The Bemidji State University Athletic Department is excited for BSU's Day of Giving 2023! All your generous donations and support help raise funds that are used for scholarships, travel, equipment and for our student-athletes to be able to compete at a championship level.

Many of the programs will be targeting specific goals that they will look to achieve through Giving Day. Some examples of what each program is hoping to use the funds received includes:

• -        Men's Hockey with Sanford Center rink upgrades and additional funds to support enhancing the student-athlete experience.
• -        Women's Hockey looking to update the lounge area at Sanford Center.
• -        Women's Softball with field upgrades to the batting cage and windscreens, along with helping for their trip to Florida.
• -        Men's Golf is trying for technological upgrades to GC Quad Simulator.
• -        Women's Volleyball is looking to upgrade the carbon fiber net system and radar guns to track serving and attacking speeds through the spring.
• -        Women's Tennis is looking to use the funds for practice equipment.
• -        Men's Basketball would like to have the funds for help with operational budget.
• -        Women's Basketball is hoping to use the funds for their Thanksgiving trip.
• -        Men's Football would like to get the funds for a new LEV sled.
• -        Women's Soccer would use the funds for NCAA rings, new game goals, enhance overall student-athlete experience.
• -        Women's Golf would use the funds to help with their spring break trip to Arizona.
• -        Women's Track and Field/Cross Country would like to use the funds for scholarships and/or practice equipment.
• -        Men's Baseball would like to have funds to help with travel expenses and operational budget.

Day of Giving is a 24-hour online fundraising event starting on Feb. 21 that will change the lives of BSU students, both now and in the future. Beavers around the world- alumni, students, parents, friends, faculty and staff- will come together and raise funds that directly benefit our students and student-athletes.
