BEMIDJI, Minn. – Due to lingering winter weather, the Bemidji State University Baseball Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference season-opening series at Concordia University-St. Paul scheduled for this weekend has been shifted to a Sunday-Monday series and will be played in Mauston, Wis., at the Woodside Sports Complex.

The Beavers-Golden Bears series will remain a league three-game series beginning with one game Sunday, Mar. 19 at 2 p.m. Bemidji State and CSP will conclude its series Monday with a doubleheader beginning 1 p.m.

Bemidji State begins conference play after going 1-14 in non-conference action and are coming off a week in Tucson, Ariz., where the Beavers went 1-6 at the Tucson Invitational Games. The Beavers have been led at the plate by junior
Jack Munson who is batting .364 after collecting 20 hits in 55 at bats. He leads the team in hits, home runs (3), total bases (34), slugging percentage (.618) and on-base percentage (.407).

As a team the Beavers are hitting .258 at the plate which ranks 12
th in the NSIC while their 71 runs this season stands 10
th.

Senior
Logan Barrick is leading the Beavers' pitching staff and has pitched 18.1 innings going 1-0 with a 4.91 ERA over three appearances. Junior
Will Lavin follows with 13.0 innings on the mound and is 0-3 with a 6.92 ERA and paces the team with 16 strikeouts. Freshman
Christian Lindow paces BSU's relievers and has posted a 2.35 ERA over 7.2 innings and picked up his first collegiate save in the Beavers 8-6 win over Malone University on Mar. 10.

The Golden Bears enter the weekend's action after going 4-9 in non-conference play and are coming off a non-conference split with University of Minnesota Duluth Wednesday at US Bank Stadium.

CSP is batting .285 as a team and is led by Kal Brohmer who is batting .359 with 14 hits, two doubles and 12 RBI. Korey Dahlberg leads the Golden Bears' pitching staff with 18.0 innings and is 1-2 with a 2.50 ERA and 16 strikeouts.
