BEMIDJI, Mo. – The Bemidji State University Baseball team continues the non-conference portion of its 2023 schedule this weekend and will travel to Liberty, Mo., to face William Jewell for a four-game series beginning Friday, Mar. 3.

The Beavers and Cardinals begin their series Friday with a single game at 3:00 p.m. CT followed by a doubleheader Saturday at 1 p.m. The series will conclude Sunday with game four at 1 p.m. Live stats and a live stream can be found

Bemidji State travels to William Jewell looking for its first wins of the season after falling at No. 12 University of Illinois Springfield in four games in its season-opening series last weekend. The Cardinals enter the weekend's action 3-3 and won two-of-three games against Wayne State College this past weekend.

Junior transfer
Seth Goplen led the Beavers at the plate in their first action of the season batting .333 with four hits in 12 at bats while junior
Jack Munson batted .294 with a team-high three doubles and drove in two runs. Junior
Ty Karger paces the team with four runs batted in and one home run while batting .214 and follows Munson (.471) with a .429 slugging percentage.

As a team the Beavers are batting .198 while the Cardinals are hitting .270 and have out-scored opponents 45-36.

On the mound senior
Logan Barrick leads all starters with a 4.50 earned run average and pitched 6.0 innings allowing just three runs while striking out three in his only appearance last weekend. Freshman
Christian Lindow leads the relievers and in his first appearance pitched three innings of scoreless baseball.
