BEMIDJI, Minn. – With continuing winter weather in Bemidji, the Bemidji State University Baseball team has reversed sites for its upcoming series with Augustana University and Winona State University. The Beavers will now travel to Sioux Falls, S.D., Sunday, April 2 for a three-game Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference series against Augustana.

The Beavers and Vikings will play a three-game series with a doubleheader on Sunday beginning at 1:30 p.m., followed by a single game Monday at Noon. BSU will then travel east to Winona, Minn., for a doubleheader against the Warriors Tuesday at 1:30 p.m.

Bemidji State (2-23, 1-9 NSIC) travels south to face the Vikings (16-12, 5-3 NSIC) who sit fifth in the NSIC standings and will be coming off its home opening series against University of Minnesota Duluth Thursday. The Vikings are hitting .269 as a team and are led by Jack Hines who is batting .365 with 31 hits off two doubles, two home runs and has 12 RBI. Drey Dirksen has been a force at the plate as well and is batting .359 with 33 hits including 20 doubles, six home runs and has driven in 21 runs.

Caleb Saari leads the Vikings' pitching staff with 43.2 innings and is 3-2 with a 2.68 ERA and has 47 strikeouts. He is followed by Seth Miller who has pitched 38.1 innings, has an ERA of 3.99 and is 3-1 on the season with 40 strikeouts. As a team, the Vikings have an ERA of 4.27 and hold opponents to a .237 batting average.

The Warriors enter the weekend's action at 10-15 (6-4 NSIC) and will host St. Cloud State University before facing the Beavers Tuesday. Winona State is batting .277 as a team and is led by Kyle Yu who is batting .355 with 27 hits off six doubles, one triple and had driven in 14 runs. Five batters are hitting over .300 for the Warriors.

WSU' pitching staff has a team ERA of 6.77 and are led by Justin Firpo who has pitched 26.1 innings and is 2-1 with an ERA of 4.10 and has recorded 20 strikeouts. He is followed by Peyton Lee who has pitched 25.1 innings and is 1-2 with an ERA of 7.11 and has collected 18 strikeouts.

Bemidji State is hitting .242 as a team and is led by junior
Jack Munson who is batting .314 after earning 27 hits off six doubles, two triples and three home runs. He also leads the team with a .535 slugging percentage and is tied for the team lead with 13 RBI. Junior
Zach Listiak follows and is batting .309 with 17 hits including two doubles and one home run and paces the team with 15 walks and an on-base percentage of .479.

The Beavers are led by senior
Logan Barrick who has pitched 28.2 innings and is 1-1 with an ERA of 6.91 while junior
Will Lavin follows with 25.0 innings and is 1-4 with an ERA of 5.40 and leads the team with 29 strikeouts. Freshman
Christian Lindow leads the Beavers' relievers and has posted a 5.40 ERA in 13.1 innings and is the lone pitcher with a save. Senior
Konrad Kisch follows and has a 5.73 ERA in 11.0 innings over six appearances.
