BEMIDJI, Minn. – The Bemidji State University Softball team looks to add to its four-game winning streak as they travel to Wayne State College and Augustana University this weekend with two weeks remaining of Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference regular season. The Beavers start action in Wayne, Neb., on Sunday, April 23 at noon against Wayne State followed by the Vikings at noon in Sioux Falls, S.D., Monday.

The Beavers are riding a four-game win streak after sweeping Concordia University-St. Paul, 10-6 and 11-10 in nine innings and University of Mary, 3-0 and 5-4 earlier this week.
Kyla Damerow earned three wins in four games and added a save in the final game.

Sophomore
Mariah Stevenson leads the Beavers batting .330 with nine doubles, two home runs and 19 RBI's.
Alexa Christenson has the second-best batting average at .327 with five doubles, two triples and hit her second home run of the season against Mary. After her seven RBI day against CSP,
Molly Houts now leads BSU in runs batted in with 21 with
Ashley Herold right behind her at 20.

Damerow (8-10) leads the Beavers in earned runs average at 3.39 and now innings pitched at 105.1. Damerow is second in the NSIC with four saves on the season and has more than doubled her career wins this season now at 15. Junior
Stella Dolan (9-7) leads the Beavers with 73 strikeouts on the season in 100.1 innings worked. Dolan has an ERA of 4.67 and one save. The Beavers lead the NSIC in fewest walks issued with the pair totaling 22 a piece.

Scouting Wayne State
The Wildcats are 10-32 overall and 5-14 in the NSIC, WSC has dropped its last three games. Wayne State ranks 11
th in the NSIC in batting average at .275 and 15
th in the conference with a 5.67 ERA. Senior Riley Holmberg leads the Wildcats with a .303 batting average. Holmberg has recorded 57 hits, three doubles and three triples in 42 games. Grace Lucka (3-11) leads WSC with an earned run average of 4.70 and tallied 50 strikeouts through 89.1 innings of work.

Scouting Augustana
The Vikings are 26-11 overall and 13-3 in the NSIC, winning their last two series against Minnesota State University, Moorhead 9-0 and 17-4 and then defeating Northern State University 8-7 and 11-0. Augustana is leading the NSIC batting .353 and is fifth in the conference with an ERA of 3.79. AU is led by senior Torri Chute batting .411 and batted in 36 runs through 37 games. Hailey Houston (13-2) and Lexi Lander (10-7) is the pitching duo for the Vikings, Houston has an ERA of 2.27 and Lander is behind her at 3.66. The pair have combined for 133 strikeouts with Houston recording 72 k's. Â
