Beavers Softball continues road trip with St. Cloud State on Tuesday

Bemidji State plays final road series of the regular in St. Cloud, Minn.

BEMIDJI, Minn. – The Bemidji State University Softball team plays its final road series of the regular season against St. Cloud State University on Tuesday Apr. 25 in St. Cloud, Minn. The Beavers will play its third road series in just three days against the Huskies with the doubleheader starting at 1 p.m.
 
Bemidji State will travel to St. Cloud, Minn., after playing series against Wayne State College and Augustana University days before. The Beavers are currently on a four-game win streak.
 
Scouting St. Cloud State
The Huskies are 25-14 overall and 10-4 in the NSIC, SCSU are on a six-game win streak claiming series sweeps over Concordia University-St. Paul, University of Minnesota, Crookston and Northern State University. St. Cloud State ranks third in the NSIC in batting average at .312 and fourth in the conference with a 2.99 ERA. Graduate student Jasmin Estrada leads the Huskies with a .381 batting average and has recorded 48 hits, 14 doubles and eight home runs in 39 games. Freshman Justyce Porter (3-4) leads SCSU with an earned run average of 2.17 and Trinity Junker is right behind her with an ERA of 2.23 and 123 strikeouts.
