WINONA, Minn. – The Bemidji State University Men's Golf team concluded its 2022-23 season at the NCAA Super Regional shooting its best round of the three-day tournament at 296 (+12) in Winona, Minn., Saturday afternoon. Freshman Logan Schoepp had the best round on the final day for BSU shooting 72 (+1).
Bemidji State finished the tournament with its best round at 296 (+12) on its final day to finish out the NCAA Super Regional at 900 (+48) in 20th. Grand Valley State University held its lead throughout winning the tournament at 857 (+5). Charles Delong from Grand Valley State took first shooting 207 (-6), with Drew Coble, Nick Krueger from GVSU and Caleb Miller from Southern Arkansas University all tied for second at one-under par.
Freshman Rylin Petry finished on-top for the Beavers with a 222 (+9). Petry recorded four birdies in the contest to land him tied for 33rd. One-stroke behind him was fifth-year senior Ben Corbid at 223 (+10) tying for 37th. Corbid ended the final day shooting 76 (+5). Schoepp moved to third for BSU after finishing at one-over par and totaled a 226 (+13). The last 12 holes of the day Schoepp recorded four birdies and eight pars. Freshman Caden Lick ended the tournament at 229 (+16) and had the second-best day at three-over par with Petry. Junior Jack Southard rounded out the team shooting 244 (+31).
As a team, Bemidji State tallied 167 pars and 23 birdies. Petry led the Beavers with 38 pars, while Schoepp added 35. Corbid led BSU with eight birdies.
