GOODYEAR, Ariz. – The Bemidji State University Men's Golf team finished third at the Maverick Desert Classic to kick-off play during the spring semester at the Palm Valley Golf Club in Goodyear, Ariz. The Beavers carded 584 (291-293) and finished just four strokes behind tournament co-champions Pittsburg State University and Washburn University.

Cullen Ryan paced the Beavers and tied for 15
th shooting 146 (75-71). He was followed by
Julius Arenkiel (75-73—148),
Logan Schoepp (74-74—148) and Teagan Laplante (73-75—148) who each tied for 25
th shooting 148.
Brogan Paschal rounded out the Beavers team scores shooting 149 (69-80).

Competing as individuals,
Charlie Williams had the second-best score for the Beavers and tied a career-low with a 147 (76-71).
Caden Lick shot 152 (69-83) while
Riley McGovern followed shooting 155 (74-81) to round out the Beavers competing at the event.

Bemidji State will now prepare to compete at the NSIC Preview at the Paradise Point Complex in Smithville, Mo., March 23-24.
