BEMIDJI, Minn. – The Bemidji State University Softball team returns to the road this weekend and gears up for its final non-conference games. The Beavers head south to Missouri for a six-game weekend spanning three days from Friday, March 15 to Sunday.

The Beavers (6-11) are eager to face new opponents coming off a week in Florida going 3-5 at The Spring Games. BSU begins the weekend's action with a doubleheader at University of Central Missouri Friday followed by doubleheaders against Missouri Western State University and Northwest Missouri State University Saturday and Sunday, respectively.

Jackie Larsen leads the team with a batting average of .405 and following right behind her is junior
Alexa Christenson who is batting .404. The two are ranked eighth and ninth in the NSIC in batting average.

Senior
Stella Dolan has been a standout performer in the circle pitching 75.1 innings and leads the Beavers with 47 strikeouts. She holds a record of 5-6 and ranks second in the conference in innings pitched and eighth in strikeouts. Sophomore pitcher
Elle Hastings follows with 20.2 innings pitched and a record of 0-3.
