BEMIDJI, Minn. – The Bemidji State University Baseball team travels to University of Minnesota, Crookston for a mid-week doubleheader on Wednesday, April 17 starting at 1:30 p.m.

The Beavers (1-35, 0-20 NSIC) return to action this week after a series loss against Minnesota State University, Mankato this past weekend, where they dropped all three games.

The Golden Eagles (21-12, 15-8 NSIC) are 15-4 in their last 19 games and currently sit fifth place in the NSIC standings with a 15-8 league record.

The Beavers are hitting .218 as a team, with 109 runs, 34 doubles, 17 home runs, and 97 RBI's. They are led by senior
Jack Munson, who is batting .269, with 14 runs, nine doubles, two home runs, and 13 RBI's. He is followed by freshman
Matt Filippi hitting .26 with three home runs, and 10 RBI's. Senior
Ty Karger and junior
Zach Evenson lead the team with four home runs each and Karger is coming off his first career two home run game in game three against the Mavericks.

On the mound, the Beavers have a 14.20 team ERA, with 206 strikeouts, and 225 walks. Junior
Derek Hoffman leads the team with 31.1 innings pitched and a 14.36 ERA. Followed by freshman
Jacob Smith with 27.2 innings pitched and a 10.08 ERA.
