BEMIDJI, Minn. – The Bemidji State University Baseball team hits the road and travels south to Aberdeen, S.D., for a three-game Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference series at Northern State University, Saturday-Sunday.

The Beavers and Wolves begin the series Saturday with a doubleheader beginning at 1:30 p.m., followed by the series finale Sunday at Noon.

Bemidji State enters the series 1-36 and 0-27 in NSIC play while the Wolves are 13-24 and 8-19 in league play.

The Beavers are led at the plate by senior
Jack Munson who is batting .274 with a slugging percentage of .419 and on-base percentage of .308. He has collected 34 hits in 124 at bats off nine doubles, three home runs and is second on the team with 14 RBI. Senior
Ty Karger leads the team with 15 RBI and five home runs while slugging a team-high .466. Freshman
Matt Filippi is second on the team with a .267 batting average and is tied for ninth in the NSIC with three triples. He paces the Beavers on the base paths stealing nine of 10 attempted bases, the most by a Beaver since
Carter Simon (9) in 2021.
