BEMIDJI, Minn. – Bemidji State University Men's Golf fifth-year senior
Koby Kuenzel shot an even par 142 (71-71) to lead the Beavers to a first-place finish at the 2024 Bemidji State Invitational held at the Bemidji Town and Country Club, Monday-Tuesday.

Kuenzel fired an even par 71 each round to tie for second individually while the Beavers finished 18 strokes ahead of Augustana University to claim the team tournament trophy. The Beavers finished with a team score of 574 (290-284) and improved by six strokes on day two.

Logan Schoepp (76-69), senior
Tate Usher (75-70) and senior
Tanner Wanous (71-74) who each tied for fourth while Schoepp tied a career low round of 69 on day two to tie for the low round of the tournament. Wanous fired a career-low 71 on day one while Usher tied a career-low of 70 on day two.

Teagan LaPlante earned his second career top-10 finish after tying for 10
th with a 147 (73-74) to round out the Beavers' top five.

The Beavers return to action next week as they travel to Big Rapids, Mich., to compete in the Bulldog Fall Classic at the Katke Golf Club Sept. 16-17.
