BEMIDJI, Minn. – After a scorching first tournament of the season, Bemidji State University senior men's golfer
Logan Schoepp was named the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Men's Golfer of the Week Wednesday. It is his first career weekly nod from the NSIC and the first of the season for the conference.
Schoepp, a native of Bismarck, N.D., led the Beavers to a 20-stroke win at the Beavers' home tournament, the BSU Invitational at the Bemidji Town and Country Club. He earned top medalist honors after he fired a career-low, eight-under par 134 to win the tournament by six strokes. Schoepp began the tournament shooting a program record low round of 64 that included 12 pars, five birdies, one eagle and 0 bogeys. He then followed with a one-under par 70 in round two and led the entire field with just two bogeys during the tournament.
Schoepp is the reigning NSIC Championship Individual Champion in 2024-25 and two-time All-NSIC selection while also excelling in the classroom and is a two-time CSC Academic All-American.
