WINONA, Minn. – The Bemidji State University Men's Golf team made a 23-stroke improvement on day two of the Watkins Invitational Tuesday afternoon to finish sixth at the tournament. Sophomore
Cullen Ryan fired a career-low 141 including a career-low 69 on day two to lead the Beavers.

The Beavers improved by three spots after the final day and finished sixth with a team score of 589 (306-283). Their second round score of 283 is a season-low so far this season and lowest since 2023.

Ryan tied for sixth individually with his career-low round while
Koby Kuenzel followed and tied for 12
th after shooting 143 (74-69).
Tate Usher carded 150 (80-70) while
Logan Schoepp added 156 (80-76) and
Charlie Williams rounded out the Beavers' five scorers shooting 157 (82-75).

Competing as individuals,
Tanner Wanous posted a top-20 finish by shooting 147 (76-71) while
Teagan LaPlante shot 152 (78-74) and
Ryan Schmit shot 156 (85-71).

The Beavers now gear up for their final tournament of the fall season and travel to St. Joseph, Mo., to compete at the Super Regional Preview Oct. 7-8.
