BEMIDJI, Minn. – The Bemidji State University Men's Hockey team fell 5-1 to Ferris State University Friday night in game one of their Central Collegiate Hockey Association series at Sanford Center.

Eric Martin scored the Beavers' lone goal in the game, his ninth of the season, to tie for the team lead. He was assisted by junior
Kirklan Irey and
Reilly Funk.

Mattias Sholl made 15 saves in between the pipes for the Beavers including eight in the first period but falls to 9-14-4 with the loss.

The Beavers look to salvage the series split tomorrow night for game two also at Sanford Center. Puck drop is scheduled for 6:07 p.m.
