Bemidji State Notes
- The Beavers ended a four-game homestand last weekend picking up their first two win and first series sweep of the season after defeating Robert Morris University twice at Sanford Center.
- The Beavers began the non-conference series against the Colonials with a 3-0 shutout in game one with sophomore Kaitlin Groess collecting her first collegiate shutout after making 12 saves.
- Bemidji State then clinched the series sweep with a 4-1 victory Saturday with junior captain Hailey Armstrong scoring all four goals for the Beavers.
- She tied a program record for most goals scored in a game, set in just the Beavers' second year in existence back in 1999.
- Armstrong totaled five goals over the weekend tied for the most in the WCHA with WCHA Forward of the Week, Minnesota's Abbey Murphy.
- Groess was exceptional in between the pipes allowing just one goal in 40 shots against the Colonials for a .975 save percentage and 0.50 goals against average.
- Nine Beavers recorded a point in the series including Armstrong, Morgan Smith and Kate Johnson who each recorded three or more points.
- The line of Armstrong, Johnson and Isa Goettl scored six of the Beavers' seven goals on the weekend.
- Bemidji State faces its second opponent ranked in the top three in the national polls this weekend after opening the season against No. 1 Wisconsin two weeks ago.
- Armstrong paces the Beavers with five goals in four games this season and is second in the WCHA. She has scored five of BSU's nine goals.

- Bray leads the Beavers' blueliners in points and is tied for the eighth most in the WCHA.
