BEMIDJI, Minn. – Red-hot over its last 10 games, the (RV) Bemidji State University Men's Hockey team will be tested this weekend in a non-conference matchup with U.S. Highway 2 rival No. 6 University of North Dakota.

The Beavers (9-5-2, 7-1-2 CCHA) and Fighting Hawks (8-4-0, 4-2-0 NCHC) face off for a home-and-home, non-conference series beginning with game one at Sanford Center in Bemidji, Minn., The two teams renew their annual Thanksgiving battle at 7:37 p.m. Friday before making the trip to Grand Forks, N.D., Saturday for game two at Ralph Engelstad Arena. Puck drop for game two is scheduled for 6:07 p.m.

Bemidji State Notes
- Bemidji State has been red-hot over its last 10 games going 7-1-2 and a perfect 6-0-0 at home since Oct. 24.
- The Beavers are averaging 3.40 goals per game during that streak, second-best in the CCHA, while allowing just 2.00 goals per game (t-3rd in CCHA).
- Senior Adam Flammang has paced the Beavers during that span and has a CCHA high 14 points (5g-9a).
- The top line of Flammang, Oliver Peer (7g-5a) and Kasper Magnussen (5g-5a) has combined for 36 of the team's 93 points over the last 10 games or 39-percent.
- The Beavers are 3-1-1 over their last five games including a series sweep over Northern Michigan University last weekend at Sanford Center where they outscored the Wildcats 13-5.
- 16 of the team's 22 skaters recorded a point in the series while six scored goals.
- Senior Connor McClennon put on one of the best goal scoring performances in BSU's DI history tying BSU's DI single-game record with four goals in Friday's 7-3 victory and became just the third Beaver to record four goals in a game in their DI history.
- McClennon netted his first collegiate hat trick Friday night and was named the CCHA Forward of the Week for Nov. 21-22 for the first time as a Beaver.
- His performance was followed by another historical performance this time from junior Oliver Peer who netted his own hat trick and added an assist in Saturday's 6-2 win.
- It was his first hat trick as a Beaver as well and marked the first time in BSU's DI era and first time since 1991 that two Beavers scored hat tricks on back-to-back nights.
- The two combined for seven of the team's 13 goals over the weekend.
- Bemidji State is second across all of Division I with 56 goals through the first 16 games of the regular season (Michigan - 83).
- Bemidji State's Adam Flammang and Oliver Peer rank t-6th and t-8th in Division I with 20 and 19 points, respectively.
- Flammang paces the Beavers with 20 points off six goals and 14 assists despite missing two games due to injury and his 1.43 points per game average is 6th among DI skaters with 10 games or more.
- Flammang is the fastest Beaver to reach the 20-point mark since Owen Sillinger recorded 21 points through the team's first 14 games in 2021-22.
- Flammang's 1.43 PPG average is the highest in BSU's DI era and is on pace for a 45-point regular season, second most in BSU's DI era (Owen Sillinger - 47).
- Flammang has achieved a career high in points (20) and assists (14) in just 14 games into his senior season and is three goals shy of tying a career best.
- He is followed closely by junior Oliver Peer who has 19 points (10g-9a) in 16 games and is tied for eighth in DI in goals.
- He has scored in seven-of-16 games and his 0.63 goals per game average is tied for 24th in the NCAA and fourth best in BSU's DI era.
- The line of Flammang, Peer and Kasper Magnussen has combined for 55 points and 22 goals scoring 39-percent of the team's goals.
- That line ranks fourth in NCAA DI Men's Hockey combining for 55 points early on this season.
- Bemidji State has 18 skaters who have scored a goal this season including five with five or more.
- Sophomore Hudson Thornton leads the Beavers blueline with 10 points (2g-8a) and is second among CCHA defensemen. He is fourth among CCHA skaters with a time on ice average of 23:50 according to collegehockeynews.com.
- The Beavers rank second and third in the CCHA in goals scored and goals allowed per game, respectively.
- The Beavers' power play is second in the CCHA and 19th in DI with a power-play percentage of .233 (14-of-60).
- The Beavers scored two power-play goals in each game last weekend going 4-for-6 in their series with the Wildcats and are 10-for-38 (.263) over their last 10 games.
- BSU's penalty kill is fifth in the league at .794 (50-of-63) and is .886 (31-35) over the last 10 games.
- Head coach Tom Serratore has split time in between the pipes between junior Raythan Robbins and freshman Max Hildebrand.
- Robbins leads the team with a 5-1-2 record, 2.08 goals against average and .909 save percentage and started the last two games.
- Hildebrand is 4-4-0 on the season with a 3.05 GAA and .888 save percentage but over his last four starts he is 3-1-0 with a 1.95 GAA and .921 save percentage.
- Bemidji State is 6-37-8 all-time against North Dakota but split last season's series with a 2-1 victory at Sanford Center.
- At home, the Beavers are 3-11-3 against the Fighting Hawks but just 3-26-5 at Ralph Engelstad Arena.
- Head coach Tom Serratore is 5-30-8 in his 25 seasons coaching against the Fighting Hawks.
- Bemidji State is receiving votes in the USCHO.com Top-20 national poll for the sixth time this season and is receiving votes in the USA Hockey College Hockey Poll for the first time since Oct. 6.

- Irey captains the Beavers during the 2025-26 season after he led the Beavers in points with 24 (11g-13a).
- 10 newcomers were brought in for a total roster size of 28 (15-F, 10-D, 3-G).
- Vincent Labelle, Connor McClennon, Hudson Thornton, Vann Yuhas, Oliver Peer, Max Hildebrand, Max Vig, Ben Vigneault, Oscar Karlsson and Max Namestnikov all look to make their debut for Bemidji State this season.
- Three newcomers come from the USports league of Canada (Labelle, McClennon, Peer), one from the ECHL (Thornton), one NCAA transfer (Yuhas) and five from junior hockey leagues (Hildebrand-WHL, Vig-USHL, Vigneault-QMJHL, Karlsson-J20 Nationell, Namestnikov-OHL).
- Freshman Maxon Vig highlights the Beavers' newcomers after he was drafted 209th overall (7th Round) of the 2025 NHL Entry Draft by the Montreal Canadiens. He is the seventh Beaver to be drafted into the NHL and first since Eric Pohlkamp (2023).
- Vig joins Pohlkamp (fifth round - San Jose - 132nd), Radoslav Illo (fifth round - Anaheim - 136th), Chris Peluso (seventh round - Pittsburgh - 194th), Andrew Murray (eighth round - Columbus - 242nd), Gary Sargent (third round - Los Angeles - 48th) and Dale Smedsmo (seventh round - Toronto - 93rd) as Bemidji State NHL draft picks.
- Bemidji State's roster primarily consists of those hailing from Canada as 50-percent claim roots from our northern neighbors.
- 14 call Canada home while 11 are from the United States and three from Europe.
- Bemidji State has the most Canadians (14) on its team since the 2016-17 season.
- Irey is the 65th captain in Beaver Hockey history and is joined by Vince Corcoran, Adam Flammang and Mitch Wolfe who will serve as alternates.
- The Beavers were voted to finish sixth in the CCHA Preseason Coaches' Poll after garnering 54 points in the poll and Parekh was selected as a CCHA Preseason All-CCHA Team member.
