BEMIDJI, Minn. – Bemidji State University Men's Hockey junior
Adam Flammang scored 1:59 into overtime to send the Beavers to victory and a Central Collegiate Hockey Association series sweep over Bowling Green State University Saturday at Sanford Center.

The game reached overtime after fifth-year senior captain
Jackson Jutting scored the game-tying goal with just 10.7 seconds left in the third period to send the game into the extra frame.

Bemidji State earned two points in CCHA standings, capping-off a five-point weekend against the Falcons and are sixth in league standings with 34 points heading into the final weekend of the regular season. The Beavers also extended their win streak to four games and sent home their five seniors with a victory on Senior Night in the final home game of the regular season.

In a tightly contested battle, the two teams competed hard against each other and scoring chances were difficult to come by as the two team were locked in a 0-0 battle for 47 minutes before Bowling Green's Ville Immonen scored the game's first goal 7:42 into the third period.

In such a hard-fought game, it seemed as if one goal would be enough to declare a victor but with just 10.7 seconds remaining and the Beavers' net empty, Jutting came up clutch once again and scored the game-tying goal after a mad scramble in front of BGSU goaltender Cole Moore.

Bemidji State had all of the momentum from then on and 1:59 into the three-on-three overtime, Flammang snuck behind the Falcons' defenses and scored the game-winning goal to send the Beavers to victory.

The Beavers improved to 13-15-4 (10-11-3 CCHA) with the win and senior goaltender
Mattias Sholl backstopped the Beavers to victory earning his 50
th career win after stopping 22-of-23 shots. He is now 12-14-4 on the season.

Bemidji State now prepares to end the 2024-25 regular season with a road trip to rival Minnesota State University, Mankato next weekend before the CCHA Playoffs begin.
