BEMIDJI, Minn. – The Bemidji State University Baseball team hits the road for the sixth-straight weekend and travels to Winona, Minn., for a four-game series with Winona State University Thursday-Friday. The Beavers and Warriors were scheduled to play in Bemidji, Minn., but lasting winter conditions at the BSU Baseball Field pushed the site reversal for their Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference series.

The Beavers and Warriors will play two doubleheaders beginning Thursday, March 27 and ending Friday. Game one on Thursday will begin at 1:30 p.m., while the first game on Friday will begin at Noon.

Bemidji State looks to end its 17-game losing streak against the Warriors who are 10-11 and 6-6 in NSIC play. BSU is 1-17 and 0-12 in conference action. The Beavers are 43-168-1 all-time against Winona State.

The Beavers are led at the plate by junior
Noah Drusch who is batting .250 after collecting 13 hits in 52 at bats. He is followed closely by senior
Zach Evenson who is batting .228 with 13 hits in 57 at bats. Drusch also leads the team in slugging (.519) and on-base percentage (.409). Sophomore
Beau Thoma is tied with Drusch and Evenson with 13 hits on the season and is batting .302 despite missing five games to injury. Thoma and Drusch lead the Beavers with five doubles while Evenson's four home runs paces the team and is tied for 12
th in the NSIC.

On the mound, the Beavers are led by senior starters
Derek Hoffman and
Brandon Lind. Hoffman paces the Beavers with 15.0 innings pitched with Lind adding 13.2 in three starts. Hoffman is 1-2 in his four appearances and has an 11.40 ERA and 11 strikeouts. Lind paces the Beavers with a 6.59 ERA and his 19 strikeouts this season are tied for 23
rd in the NSIC. They are followed by redshirt sophomore
Josh Haugen who has also made four starts and has pitched 14.1 innings. He has an 11.93 ERA and eight strikeouts.

Junior
Cole Smith leads the Beavers with the most appearances out of the bullpen with six and has pitched 10.1 innings. He has an 8.71 ERA, nine strikeouts and has the Beavers' lone save of the season.
