BEMIDJI, Minn. – The Bemidji State University Baseball Team ends its seven-game home stand Wednesday as it hosts University of Mary for a Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference doubleheader at BSU Baseball Field.

The Beavers (5-32, 4-26 NSIC) host the Marauders (18-21, 14-16 NSIC) for a pair of games at the BSU Baseball Field beginning at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 23. The teams will play a scheduled seven-inning game one followed by nine innings in game two.

The Beavers are led at the plate by sophomore
Matt Filippi who is batting .304 with 35 hits in 115 at bats. He has a .383 slugging percentage and .360 on-base percentage while leading the team and tied for seventh in the NSIC with 13 stolen bases.
He is tied for fourth in program history for most stolen bases (13) in a single season and is just 11 shy of tying Mark Grundhoffer's record of 24 set in 1989. He has 22 career stolen bases which is tied for eighth in program history.

Junior
Adrian Falcon has had the Beavers' hottest bat as of late and over the last 10 games, is batting .417 with 15 hits in 36 at bats. He is also slugging .750 with three doubles and three home runs over the last 10 games and has driven in a team-high 11 runs. On the season Falcon is hitting .291 which is tied for the second-best average on the team and is second with five home runs and 19 RBI despite appearing in 26 of the team's 37 games.

On the mound the Beavers are led by senior pitcher
Brandon Lind who is coming off earning NSIC Pitcher of the Week. Lind has posted a 3-4 record this season and in 38.1 innings he has posted a 4.93 ERA and collected 46 strikeouts to just 15 walks. He is tied for seventh in the NSIC in strikeouts and 10
th holding opposing batters to just a .265 batting average.

In the bullpen, freshman
Connor Donlin leads the group with a 4.80 ERA pitching in relief and has made 10 apperances and pitched 15 innings this season. He is followed by freshman
Bret Inman who has a 5.40 ERA in 11.2 innings but has a 1.29 ERA over his last seven innings pitched. Freshman
Matt Greiner has posted a 7.79 ERA this season and leads the team with 20 appearances including five over the last 10 games and has an ERA of 1.59 over that span.
