Beavers open fall season by hosting BSU Invite Monday-Tuesday

BSU Men’s Golf opens 2025-26 season with home tournament

BEMIDJI, Minn. – The Bemidji State University Men's Golf team begins its 2025-26 campaign by hosting the BSU Invitational Sept. 8-9 at the Bemidji Town and Country Club. The Beavers host the two-day, two-round tournament beginning Monday morning at the par-71, 6,515-yard course.

Live scoring will be available for each round of the tournament, here.

Head coach Ben Corbid is set to begin his first season with the Beavers after he was named the new leader of the program in the summer after previously serving two seasons as an assistant coach. Corbid has returned nine letterwinners to the squad that tie for third at the NSIC Championships last season while two newcomers make their green and white debut.

Senior Logan Schoepp is one of those key returners after winning the NSIC Tournament Individual Championship last season and is a two-time all-conference selection. Schoepp was selected as the Beavers' NSIC Preseason Golfer to Watch while the team was voted to finish fourth by league coaches.

Corbid also returns senior Caden Lick, juniors Cullen Ryan, Tegan LaPlante and Charlie Williams, and sophomores Riley McGovern, Ryan Nelson, Brogan Pashal and Ryan Schmit. He added freshmen Julius Arenkiel and Gavin Dahle.
