BEMIDJI, Minn. – Bemidji State University Men's Hockey junior forward
Oliver Peer was selected to the All-Central Collegiate Hockey Association First Team and named one of three finalists for the league's Forward of the Year award announced by the league Tuesday afternoon.

Peer played in 24 of 26 conference games in his first CCHA season, scoring a league-best 16 goals with 10 assists for 26 points, which ranked fourth overall. Posting a plus-8Â rating, he had 74 shots, with four power-play goals, one shorthanded marker and a league-high five game winners. Winning 56.6-percent of his faceoffs in conference play, he averaged 19:18 minutes per game.

Through the entirety of the season, Peer led the Beavers with 36 points off 20 goals and 16 assists ranking second in the league in goals and fourth in points. He tied for the 12
th most points in a single season at BSU in its DI era and is just the sixth Beaver to score 20 goals in a season at BSU (DI era).
