BEMIDJI, Minn. — Bemidji State University Track and Field, originally scheduled to take part in the Minnesota State University Mankato Open Saturday, will now travel to Fargo, N.D. for the North Dakota State University Spring Classic Friday and Saturday.
Friday's schedule is short and sweet with just the men's and women's hammer throw on the docket, starting at 1 p.m. On Saturday, field events begin at 11 a.m. with the women's javelin throw. At 1 p.m., long jump and pole vault will begin. Starting at 2:30 p.m., discus, shot put and triple jump kick off. The field events conclude with high jump at 3 p.m.
On the track, events will begin around 1 p.m. with the 3,000-meter steeplechase. The 4x100-meter relay will follow and lead into the rest of the standard races. The day finishes with the 5,000-meter and 4x400-meter relay.

Next week, the Beavers are scheduled for a trip to California for the Cal State Los Angeles Twilight and the Bryan Clay Invite, Thursday until Saturday. Part of the team is also scheduled to take part in the Dewey Donat Classic, hosted by Northern State University in Aberdeen, S.D. the same weekend.
