BEMIDJI, Minn. — Bemidji State University Softball junior centerfielder
Jackie Larsen has been selected to the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Second Team. The Bloomington, Minn. native becomes the first Beaver to be selected for an All-NSIC first or second team since Jessica Burlingame earned her second-team nod in 2019.
This season, Larsen lead the Beaver offense with a batting average of .361 percent. In 52 games, Larsen marked 158 at bats, grabbing 57 hits, tied for first on the team. She was a key scorer for the Beavers, leading the team with 30 runs scored and batting in 15. Larsen finished second on the team for stolen bases, going 12-for-18 this season.
Heading into her senior season next year, Larsen has already found her name at the top of the Beaver record books. She leads the program in career stolen bases with 48 and steal attempts with 56, marking the second-best stolen-base percentage in program history at .857 percent. She also ranks in the top 10 in program history for runs scored (4
th, 95), on-base percentage (7
th, .371), batting average (10
th, .310) and most times walked (10
th, 42). In 2025, Larsen set the single-season steals record with 22, only being caught once.
Larsen is the third Beaver under Head Coach
Jordan Petersen to earn All-NSIC accolades. She joins
Mariah Stevenson and
Molly Houts who were named to the All-NSIC Defensive team last season.
