WINTER HAVEN, Fla. – The Bemidji State softball team fell to Concord University and University of Missouri-St. Louis on the third day of The Spring Games in non-conference action Tuesday morning. The Beavers (8-8) fell to Concord 9-1 in five innings in the day's first action and later fell 7-1 to Missouri St. Louis.

The Beavers fall to 8-8 on the season and will continue play in central Florida tomorrow morning when they face Lawrence Technical University and University of Michigan-Dearborn.

Bemidji State totaled just three hits in game one of the day, all by junior Lisa Kossan who went 3-for-3 at the plate with two doubles and drove in one run. In the circle, sophomore Kaidron McClafferty falls to 2-4 on the season after pitching three innings and allowed seven runs, six earned, off of six hits.

The Beavers totaled four hits in game two but a four-run, first inning by Missouri-St. Louis led to the 7-1 defeat. Gabi Bingham, Elaina Christiansen, Emmarie Yeager and Ashley Herold all recorded hits for the Beavers while Christiansen recorded a double and drove in the Beavers' lone run. Senior Olivia Tucker pitched 0.1 innings before being relieve by junior Stephi Dullum who pitched 6.2 innings for the Beavers and allowed three runs. Tucker was credited with the loss to fall to 1-2 on the season four runs off of one hit.

Bemidji State will face Lawrence Tech and Michigan-Dearborn tomorrow morning beginning with LTU at 9 a.m., followed by UMD at 11:15 a.m.
