Box Score 2 WINTER HAVEN, Fla. – The Bemidji State softball team earned a pair of wins over Lock Haven University on the final day of its spring break trip to improve to 10-12 on the season. The Beavers began the day with an 11-1 win in five innings over the Bald Eagles followed by a 10-5 victory in game two.
The Beavers were led by freshman Emmarie Yeager in game one who recorded her first career multi-homer game after batting 2-for-3 at the plate with two home runs and earned four RBI. She was followed by senior Olivia Tucker who batted 2-for-3 with a home run while freshman Ashley Herold went 1-for-3 at the plate with two RBI.
Bemidji State out-hit Lock Haven 11-4 in the game with freshman Kyla Damerow holding the Bald Eagles to just one run in five innings of work and improved to 3-1 on the season.
In game two, the Beavers were led by sophomore Elaina Christiansen who hit her first career grand slam in the game and went 2-for-4 with three runs scored and four RBI. She was joined by junior Sami Dullum who earned two hits, drove in two runs and scored two runs for the Beavers.
Junior Stephi Dullum earned her fourth win of the season after pitching five innings and held the Bald Eagles to just one run, 0 earned, off of four hits and tied a season-high with five strikeouts. Senior Olivia Tucker came into pitch two innings in relief and allowed four runs off of five hits.
