BEMIDJI, Minn. – Bemidji State University Men's Hockey fans unable to be in attendance for New Year's Eve clash between the Beavers and University of Minnesota will be pleased to hear that Bemidji State and Fox have agreed to televise the exhibition game locally on FOX 9+.
 
FOX 9+ will outfit the Bemidji State production team with equipment necessary to broadcast the game on its television channel. The broadcast is set to begin at 5:00 p.m., with a 5:07 puck drop to follow.

FOX 9+, your ticket to local sports, can be found on Comcast channel 10/807, DirecTV channel 29, DISH channel 29, Spectrum channel 10, Mediacom channel 10/803, and Over-The-Air channel 9.2. Bemidji State FloHockey subscribers can still watch the game on FloHockey.tv and a radio broadcast can still be heard live on 92.1 FM The River or online at BeaverRadioNetwork.com.
 
The Beavers will travel south Mankato, Minn., to take on the Minnesota State University, Mavericks Thursday and Friday this week before facing the Gophers on New Year's Eve.
 
The Beavers last hosted the Gophers in Bemidji on Oct. 18-19, 2013 for the Beavers' first home series of the 2013-14 season.  
 
Located on the shore of Lake Bemidji, Bemidji State University sponsors 15 varsity athletic programs with NCAA Division I men's hockey in the Central Collegiate Hockey Association and women's hockey in the Western Collegiate Hockey Association, while its 13 NCAA Division II programs hold membership in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC).
