Box Score 2 Jan Phyl Village, Fla. -- Bemidji State University softball team fell, 7-1, to Seton Hill University in seventh game of The Spring Games. The Beavers were swept during the seven-game series and were unable to compete in three due to weather cancellations.
The Beavers found home plate in four-of-seven games, scoring 11 runs while giving up 48 to opponents. BSU's closest matchups came from games against Cedarville University (L, 5-2) and Walsh University (L, 9-6).
The final game of the trip was split between two pitchers for the Beavers, Kaidron McClafferty and Stella Dolan. McClafferty, a senior from Butte, Mont. threw two innings with a total of 47 pitches, five hits, and four earned runs. She added the loss to her record. Dolan pitched over three innings, marked 51 pitches, and three hits for one earned run.
